How to Create a Website using Carrowyn Content Management System



How to very easily create a website.



Steps



1. Obtain a host that supports php and mysql databases. There are free hosts available, you have to search around for them.

2. Go to http://www.jo-solutions.com and get Carrowyn Content Management System, it's totally free.

3. Run Carrowyn's installer.

4. Find a template for Carrowyn or create your own!

5. You have a website.



Warnings

  • If you register a domain name for your hosting account. Sites like godaddy.com will give you a great price, but they will try to trick you into buying extra features. Read everything carefully.
  • Avoid $2/month hosting plans. In the fine print you usually end up getting half of what you think.
