1. Connect your iPhone 5s to your laptop or computer's USB cable port.

2. Tap on “Settings” on your iPhone 5s, then tap on “Cellular”, scroll down and tap on “Personal Hotspot”.

3. Touch the slider to turn on the personal hotspot. On the next pop-up screen, click “USB only”. Your USB hotspot is now active and tethered to your computer.

4. On your Windows 7 computer or laptop the device drivers will install your new connection. Click on “Home Network”. Now your computer will attempt to connect to the internet. When the setup is complete you can close the prompt. You may now use the internet connection.
