How to Replace the Broken LCD Screen on a Samsung Galaxy Note 2

Do you have a broken LCD Screen on your Note 2? If so, you need to replace it in a professional manner. The steps are simple, and all you need to have is steady hands in order to get this thing done.

Steps

1. Remove the back cover, sPen, battery and screws.

2. Slide the plastic separation tool through the side gaps (between LCD and back cover) in order to open side locks. This way, the broken LCD can be removed, and the back cover can be opened.

3. Remove one more lock, which is adjacent to the battery terminal.

4. Pull LCD screen up gently with the help of plastic separation tool. This will aid in removing all the locks properly. After that, remove the back casing.

5. Disconnect the display strip, speaker strip (headphone jack strip), flash indicator strip (front camera strip), charging dock strip, antenna wire, function and power button Strip.

6. Remove the motherboard screw in order to de-attach the motherboard from the Note 2. (Remove it as illustrated in the picture.)

7. Move the speaker strip (headphone jack strip), front camera and flash and charging dock strip, into the new LCD panel.

8. Reassemble your Note 2 like you disassembled it.
