How to Find a Lost iPod: 4 Steps

Steps


1. Get your serial number. If you didn't write it down when you got your iPod, call Apple and ask them for it.

2. Inform Apple that your phone is missing. They will need the serial number to see if it is being used by someone else.

• It's uncertain whether this step will help, as there is no account of Apple actually helping anyone find their iPod.

3. If the phone was stolen, call the police. Give them a description, the serial number, and when/where you last saw the iPod.

4. Post an ad in the paper or on Craigslist. Write where you lost it and what you're willing to offer if someone gives it back.
