How to Optimize Yahoo Music: 10 Steps

Feeling tired of listening to all that music you don't like? This article sets out how to optimize Yahoo Music.



Steps


1. If you're already a yahoo music user and want no adverts, download UK messenger.

2. If you're not yet a user, go to UK yahoo music page and sign up for the free account.

3. Select roughly the types of music you like genre/artists/songs, etc.

4. Press the headphones to listen to your station. Listen to your station as you optimize it. so you can chill out.

5. In the main window of your yahoo music page, search for a band/artist you really can't stand.

6. Select them then rate them 0.

7. Select the albums of that artist and rate all of them 0. You can do this really quickly as the albums are all listed on one page with the rating bar at the side of them.

8. Go to the bottom of that page and you will see similar artists, select one.

9. Do the same with that artist and keep doing it while you chill out to the music of your station.

10. Repeat previous steps.



Tips

• If you try and think of all the songs/artists/albums you like, you pretty soon find that it's hard but on the other hand if you follow the above there is no thinking if you pick an artist who you really can't stand then yahoo chooses the next one for you in the similar list you don't even have to really think about it just mark them as 0.
• The Americans out there who have already tried the free yahoo service will know that as soon as it starts there are 30 seconds of adverts and the more you press next, the more and longer they become. You don't want that, go to the UK site and sign in, voila no adverts. Better still download the UK messenger version and you can listen with no adverts on there too.
• The above method is you will find a lot faster than waiting for the song you like and rating that.
