How to Jailbreak iOS with RedSn0w 0.9: 10 Steps

Steps


1. Download RedSn0w 0.9.10b1

2. Hit the "Jailbreak" button.

3. Make sure your iDevice is OFF and connected with computer with charging cord.

4. Enter DFU mode by following the instructions given by Redsn0w.

5. Wait for Redsn0w to finish.

6. Choose what options you want (Most likely the "Install Cydia" option.

7. Redsn0w will begin installing Cydia. It may take 2 or 3 minutes; so just wait until its done.

8. Redsn0w will say that it is now safe to unplug your iDevice, so do so.

9. More jailbreaking will happen on your device. (some random numbers and letters will flood the screen, this is normal)

10. Done! you can now open cydia and download as much as you want :D (you will need wifi or 3g)



Tips

• Make sure your device is shut off when you jailbreak it.
• Download a restore ssh for your device in case didn't jailbreak it well.
