3 Ways to Invert Colors on an iOS Device
Inverting colors on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch can make the screen easier to read, in addition to being a cool, entertaining effect. With a few simple steps, you can invert the colors on your iOS device as well! Read the steps below the jump for guidance.
Method 1 of 3: Getting to the Accessibility Settings
1. Go to the Settings app.
2. Head to "General".
3. Scroll down and tap "Accessibility".
Method 2 of 3: Using the Vision Option
1. Under "Vision", turn the "White on Black" switch on. The screen will now invert colors.
- On iOS 7, this toggle bar is labeled "Invert Colors" instead.
Method 3 of 3: Using the Physical & Motor Button
1. Under "Physical & Motor", tap "Triple-click Home". The default setting will be "off".
2. Tap "Toggle White on Black". A checkmark will appear on it the selection.
3. Quickly press the home button three times to invert the colors.
Tips
- If you take a screenshot in inverted colors and turn it off, the photo will appear in normal colors.
- To disable this, just turn everything back off.
