How to Use Springnotes to Help You Redacting Notes or Articles
SpringNotes is a free-to-signup and non-commercial website, created in 2007 by Openmaru Studio. It exists in three languages : English, Korean and Japanese. The main purpose of it is to store your notes, articles , schedules, anything you want! If you're messy by nature, it can help you get organised.
Steps
1. Get an account at the SpringNotes signup page. Be sure to use a strong password. There is a possibility to create a group account as well. It's really useful when you have a group assignment for school, or a case study to work efficiently.
2. Log in to your freshly made account, using your credentials.
3. You may be lost with the quite-complex but still comprehensible interface. A quick tour is presented to you the first time you go on your dashboard. Read it even though most of the options are quite obvious. There are 2-3 things that could be interesting for you in the future.
4. By default, your articles are set on 'private' mode, it means no one but you can read it. You can change it to public (it's a way you make a blog out of your SN (SpringNotes) account).
5. Separate your articles, notes, etc. into different categories, so it doesn't get out of hand.
Tips
- You are assigned up to 2Gb of space.
- There are several plugins that you can install on your Spring Notes dashboard, like the 'Msn Messenger Bot'. It allows you to add notes to your Spring Notes pages in real time from MSN.
- Of course, there are alternatives to SpringNotes. You could try one of them by yourself : Google notes, NoteClip, ChipMark.
